Last event July 11-13, 2007 came to a close successfully at Shanghai Everbright Conven-
tion & Exhibition Center. The total show area increased 10,000 sq.m. in 2006 up to 16,000
sq.m. in 2007. The number of exhibitors increased 238 exhibitors in 2006 up to 475
exhibitors in 2007, creating the best historic record. The number of visitors increased
27,532 persons in 2006 up to 44,768 persons in 2007. The high growth rate of the
Expo has proved the leading position of the China Electronics Expo. According to the
survey of exhibitors made by the Organizing Committee during and after the exhibition,
82% of exhibitors were satisfied with the exhibit effect, 80% of exhibitors showed strong interest in participating in the next event continuously. 70% of them thought that this Expo has much more advantages than other exhibitions of the same kind.
“The 7th China (Shanghai) International Electronics Industry Expo 2008” and “The 7th China (Shanghai) International Battery Industry Exhibition & Seminar 2008” approved by Shanghai Foreign Economic Relation & Trade Commission of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government and co-sponsored by Chinese Institute of Electronics, Shanghai Communication Industry Association, Shanghai International Advertising & Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Kuozhan Exhibition Service Co., Ltd. will be held at Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center on July 9 - 11, 2008.
